The Gillford Centre

The Gillford Centre offers a broad and balanced curriculum that supports each student in their academic, spiritual, moral, cultural, emotional and physical development.

Our starting point is the child and their individual needs.

The curriculum is designed to boost self esteem and raise aspirations. The importance of literacy and numeracy is emphasised, along with the acquisition of personal, learning, thinking and problem solving skills.

Alongside the formal taught curriculum there are many opportunities for our young people to engage in additional outdoor, sporting and cultural activities.

Our aim is to re-engage our children in their learning and prepare them for the future so that they can achieve the best that they can, progress into meaningful further education, employment or training and make a positive contribution to society.
